Swap ‘Til You Drop!
During this time of year, our minds are often focused on what else we can get. We fill our wish-lists with dreams of new clothes, accessories, and styles. Somehow, we forget, the things we wanted last year may possibly be on someone’s current wish-list. Why not swap it with your classmates?
December 18, Four of our esthetic students, the swapanistas, organized a clothing swap on campus. Students were encouraged to bring 5 clothing items to swap with other classmates. Afterwards, we had a potluck! All remaining clothing donations were donated to Goodwill so all former treasures will certainly find happy owners. “Party with a purpose,” said swapanista Jamila Chavous.
The swap was such a success! Look forward to another swap ’til you drop in the future!
