ISSN welcomes Sabrina Sheran as the new Program Director of the Nail Care program
ISSN is excited to announce Sabrina Sheran has been promoted to Program Director of the Nail Care Program at ISSN. Originally from Los Angeles, CA, Sabrina has over 30 years of experience in the beauty field. She began her career as a make-up artist and personal stylist. Her love for art and appreciation for nail technology inspired her to begin doing nails. Shortly after completing her nail technician coursework, she returned to school to train as an instructor. She credits one of her early instructors with encouraging her to pursue instructor training, as her instructor at the time recognized her passion and potential.
That was 23 years ago, and today Sabrina is an expert in the nailcare field. Her passion for the industry is obvious in her love for teaching her students the many methods and tips she has accumulated over her career.
She is also an academic evaluator for the NACCAS. The National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences (NACCAS) is an autonomous, independent accrediting commission constituted as a nonprofit Delaware corporation, with its main office located in Alexandria, Virginia. NACCAS is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a national agency for the institutional accreditation of postsecondary schools and departments of cosmetology arts and sciences, including specialized schools. It presently accredits approximately 1,500 institutions that serve over 120,000 students. These schools offer over twenty (20) courses and programs of study that fall under NACCAS’ scope of accreditation.
In her spare time she enjoys being a practicing artist and holistic practitioner. She has three adult sons who have all gone on to lead fulfilling lives.
