ISSNMT Spa is dedicated to a relaxing and rejuvenating environment for the client
while maintaining an educational platform for our students.

Before your service begins you will have the opportunity to discuss
with your therapist exactly what you are looking to receive from your service.
If you have any specific needs or requests please let us
know prior to booking your appointment.
The Massage Board of Georgia prohibits students from receiving compensation of any kind according to section 345-6-.02 in the Georgia Rule for the Scope of Practice of Massage Therapy Students.Students accepting gratuities, or tips, will be subject to disciplinary action up to, and including, termination.
As a result, the School has determined that it will follow the Massage Board of Georgia’s regulations for all programs and all students in all programs are prohibited from accepting gratuities. Therefore, Skin Care and Nailcare students may not accept gratuities from anyone at any time.
- Cell Phone:
Upon entering our spa we ask that all guests silence all electronic devices. We would not wish for any of our clients to have their services interrupted by phone conversations. Please have the courtesy to not text while receiving a service, this could interrupt the service and result in displeasing consequences.
Student requests are encouraged. However, we cannot guarantee each student will be here on the day/time that they are requested. In the event that a requested student is unavailable, we will schedule the client with another student at the same appointment time.
- Student Schedules:
As a school we are unable to give out a students whereabouts or to give out their scheduled class times.
- Children Policy:
Children under the age of 18 must have a guardian present to sign the new client consent form. Children under the age of 13 must have a parent present in the same room at the time of client’s service.
- (Massage clients must be 13 years of age or older to receive service.)
- (We do not allow clients on the spa floor unless they are receiving services.)
- Manicure and Pedicure Treatments:
We ask that all clients receiving pedicure treatments
refrain from shaving for 48 hours prior to any pedicure treatment. Per State Board regulations, we cannot service clients with any type of open wound or cut.
- Nail Care Service:
ISSNMT School & Spa does not guarantee nail polish to last any longer than one- three days. The spa desk must be contacted within 3 days about any complaints in regards to nail care services. Gel polish is designed to last longer than regular nail polish. If you are planning to work with your hands, we recommended upgrading your service to gel polish (even on top of acrylic.) If there is a problem with the polish within 3 days of receiving your service, please contact the Spa Manager and/or Nail Care Program Director. ISSNMT School & Spa does not guarantee to redo any of our services for free. We do appreciate feedback in order to help our students with their education.
- Booking Spa Parties:
For every 3rd client, a non-refundable deposit must be prepaid at the time of booking. If for any reason the party should need to cancel or reschedule, the payment can reschedule ONE time. This payment is non-refundable. This is to hold the service slot for all persons of that party and to ensure we have the space available to keep the party in the same area. There is an additional charge for booking a party room (subject to availability) and the party policy is subject to change depending on the times available and services rendered.
- 15 Minute Grace Period:
Our students generally start setting up for their assigned appointment 20 minutes prior to the appointment time. In order to ensure that they do not miss out on credits by waiting for clients we have this policy. If a client does not show up and it is past 15 minutes from when their appointment was scheduled, the student will move on with another asignment and if the client does come in late we will treat them as a walk in.
- Our 24 hour cancellation policy is as follows:
After a client cancels their appointment 3 times, less than 24 hours before their service, that client will be asked to prepay before booking future appointments. The same policy applies for clients that do not show up after missing 3 appointments
- Gift Card Policy:
ISSNMT Spa No longer accepts the Red Gift Cards, they have expired. ISSNMT is not responsible for gift cards that are misplaced or damaged. ISSNMT is unable to transfer gift card balances to cash or spa credit. Gift cards must be physically present in order to be processed. Gift cards cannot be combined.
- If a payment is not received for a service that we have performed. A hold will be placed on the client’s file. The client must pay for their service before they can book their next service. We will take payment for the unpaid service as well as the pending service prior to going back to the treatment room.
