Born and raised in Long Island, New York, Ms. Chinn set her sights towards Atlanta in the late 90’s to pursue an undergraduate degree in Biology. Studying the body helped her gain a new found passion for holistic medicine and she ventured out to learn more about natural and alternative healing. After studying nutrition at the Integrative Institute in Manhattan she opened the “Goddess Cup”, a plant-based, raw food restaurant in West Columbia, South Carolina. It was in South Carolina that she was introduced to massage therapy and began her journey towards improving the body, mind and spirit of students and clients alike. Ms. Chinn has successfully coordinated many wellness events and operated many spas all over Atlanta. She brings her passion for the industry to ISSNMT as an educator and motivator. Ms. Chinn and her team helps students hone in on professional and personal development thereby graduating successful Estheticians, Nail Technicians and Massage Therapists.

Khalilah is a graduate of University of New Orleans. She and her family decided they would make a life in St. Louis after finding out that they could not return home to New Orleans due to the conditions in the area after Hurricane Katrina. Khalilah began to search for a job to help support her family. In her search, Khalilah decided to learn as much as she could in the financial aid field. She started her career at Sanford Brown in Fenton, MO. After living in St. Louis for nine months Khalilah and her family decided to move to Atlanta, GA! Khalilah then landed a job at Bauder College as a Senior Financial Aid Administrator. She worked with Bauder College for two years before Khalilah decided to attend the Gift of Knowledge program her job was offering. She immediately enrolled to get her Masters in Higher Education and graduated at the top of her class in December of 2010. After five years with Bauder College Khalilah brought her experience to the International School Skin, Nailcare & Massage Therapy as Director of Financial Aid! Since then, Khalilah has been promoted to Assistant School Director as well as Regional Director of Financial Aid.

Sylvia Montanez joined ISSNMT in February 2016 as Director of Career Services. While her career path has included such job titles as Internal Customer Service Manager for a procurement outsourcing consultant company, National Operations Manager for cash management company, and Program Director for a weight management company, she has worked in enrollment functions for the last seven years. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration concentration in Human Resources from the University of Puerto Rico, San Juan campus. After graduating, she joined the US Army, where she worked in Human Resources while stationed at Fort Clayton/ Fort Davis in Panama. As Director, she manages placement functions of ISSNMT Career Services Department. She establishes effective placement services for students and employers and is committed to a standard of highest excellence in her deliverance.Sylvia currently serves in various functions at her spiritual organization, she mostly enjoys teaching preschoolers. In her free time, you can find Sylvia jogging or hiking at Stone Mountain, GA or at a jazz venue in Atlanta, GA.

Sheila has over 30 years of experience in management, telecommunications and customer service. Sheila recently graduated from ISSNMT with a Diploma in Esthetics and is now a licensed Esthetician in the State of Georgia. Her love for people and clear commitment to providing stellar customer service has earned her the title of Client Services Manager in the Spa. She handles the spa’s retail, client books and helps teach the students professionalism and spa edicate. Her goal is to help ISSNMT Spa maintain its educational and relaxing environment. In her free time she loves to spend time with her family, crafts, yard work and camping.

Jennifer had the desire to enter the aesthetic field in her early teenage years, with a strong admiration for beauty and fashion. Her passion for esthetics was confirmed when she met Dr. Mark Lees at his skin care clinic in Florida. She instantly endorsed him as a primary figure for guidance and inspiration. Jennifer formally entered the esthetic industry in 2004 with a sustained drive for learning, and the strong desire to enrich the education process in esthetic schools and advanced esthetic training programs. Jennifer considers herself a life- long learner and energetically develops programs and inspires her students through all facets of instructional methodology, and imparts this skill set through all levels of training she administers.
Her knowledge of esthetic equipment is boundless. Combined with her teaching skills, Ms. Young imparts the learner with comprehensive and thorough command of equipment as well as product integration. Her philosophy in training parallels both critical thinking and comprehensive reasoning with an emphasis on instructor – student communication.
Ms. Young has a wealth of experience in esthetic school operations, all aspects of student affairs and training, regulatory compliance, state board guidelines, levels of tier management, school admissions, student retention, and COE guidelines. Her expertise in these areas has made her a key figure in the Atlanta area for esthetic school management and training.
Jennifer hails from Mobile, Alabama – and attended college for liberal arts at UAB in Birmingham, AL – she loves sailing, horticulture, reading, gourmet cooking, fashion and animal rescue.
Dr. Arthur L. Patterson, HHP, was born in the historical city of Tuskegee, Alabama. Dr. Patterson was raised in the small town of Union Springs, Alabama and graduated from Bullock County High School. He attended Tallahassee Community College and Florida State University where he studied biology. In 2003, he graduated from Rising Spirit Institute of Natural Health with a certification in Massage Therapy and Neuromuscular Therapy. 2004, he became Nationally Certified in Massage Therapy and Energy Medicine. Upon receiving his certification, in 2005, he began teaching the art of Massage Therapy and Neuromuscular Therapy at various colleges in the metro Atlanta area. Dr. Patterson worked as the Lead instructor at Everst Institute, Norcross, Georgia. In 2008, Dr. Patterson furthered his education by pursuing his certification to become a Hypnotist and continued directly into the Hypnotherapy program and became a Certified Hypnotherapist in 2010 at the Hypnosis Motivation Institute. Still eager to learn more, he enrolled at Ahimki Institute of Theology under the instruction of Dr. Mark Armstrong, ND, where he was trained in Naturopathic Sciences and received a Bachelor’s Degree. He enrolled at The Natural Healing College where he finished the Masters and Doctoral programs and earned the title of Holistic Health Practitioner. Dr. Patterson can now offer to the community multiple forms of holistic care to his clients. His office is considered a one stop shop. He dedicates his success and continuous motivation to his mother, Novella B. Scott who still resides in his hometown of Union Springs, Alabama as well as his family, friends, and students. Dr. Patterson is an asset to the International School of Skin, Nailcare and Massage Therapy as the Director of the Massage Therapy Program. He joined the ISSNMT team in May of 2016 and was quickly promoted to Director. He continues to inspire greatness as a professional in the Massage Therapy field.
LaWanda Johnson was born and raised in Savannah Georgia. In 2004, Ms. Johnson graduated from the International School of Skin, Nailcare and Massage Therapy with a diploma to show her completion of the Nail Tech program. She went on to work in the industry for over 12 years. In July 2016 Ms. Johnson returned to ISSNMT to attend and finish the Instructor program. She quickly went on to obtain her license and returned home once more to become the Nailcare Program Director. From 2006-2010 She owned her own mobile salon where she traveled to service her clients. She has worked with celebrities as well as a variety of clients in the Atlanta Metro area. Ms. Johnson is excited to share her knowledge with the nail tech. students. She feels that it is an honor to work for the school that sparked her initial love for nails!

She worked graciously as a receptionist in the Spa of ISSNMT and in January of 2016 she took the Registrar/Bursar. I have lived here in Sandy Springs all of my life.

Toshii K. D. Cooper is the Founder and CEO of Infinite Healing – A Holistic Mobile Spa; a Holistic Consultant and Practitioner; and a Teacher and Trainer. With fifteen plus years as a Licensed Massage Therapist, ten plus years as a Reiki Practitioner, six plus years as a Reiki Master, five plus years as a Teacher/Facilitator, and twenty plus years as a Metaphysician and student of subtle energies and human energy fields. In 2015 she graduated Magna Cume Laude from Ashford University with a degree in Complementary and Alternative Health. She continues her education as a Holistic Health Practitioner apprentice and a Spontaneous Muscle Release Therapist. Deneen Daniels is a 20 year veteran nail technician, industry novice, nail competitor, as well as an experienced product educator and representative.
For 20 years this master educator and tech has been extremely active with trade shows and workshop seminars. Ms. Deneen has rejoined ISSNMT as the adjunct evening instructor providing students with her innovative and practical experience.
Skin Care (Esthetics) Program Educators
Dr. Erin Madigan-Fleck is a licensed aesthetic instructor and aesthetician with more than 30 years of experience in the aesthetic and wellness field. She is a nationally certified health professional. Dr. Madigan holds a Bachelor’s of Science, Degree in Natural Health, a Master’s Degree in Holistic Nutrition, and a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. She is an author, advanced educator and a leading authority in the holistic approach to the care and treatment of problematic skin conditions.
Nairi Bournazian is an esthetician and educator with 36 years of experience. Since 1980, Nairi has trained and worked in European countries and in America. In 1991, Nairi came to the USA with 11 years of experience working in Poland, Lithuania and Armenia. In the USA, she earned her American Esthetic License and since then has actively practiced skin care. Nairi believes in healthier skin by evaluating the root of the skin problem and creating treatments based on a holistic approach. Trained in traditional western and eastern skincare modalities as well as aromatherapy, acupressure facial massage (face reflexology), hand/foot reflexology, Face Morpho-Lympho Drainage (MLD), advanced chemical peels, advance facial machines like microcurrent, microdermabrasion, LED, ultrasonic-ultrasound, jet peels, trained on advanced waxing techniques.
Nairi has received distinguished awards such as, 1st Place – NASA Skincare Competition of the Southeast of USA, 1992. “WORLD OF BEAUTY” awards – Warsaw Poland In 2010 she transitioned to an educator role and has been teaching since at ISSNMT, while continuing her practice in her free time.
In her earlier life, Nairi received a nursing diploma, holds a Master’s Degree in Music and Art Theory and Pedagogical Sciences, specializing as a music critic, choral conductor, and plays piano. Post graduate diploma of IDI. GIA certified.
Nairi is fluent in three languages (Armenian, Russian, English).

Melissa Helms is a native to metro Atlanta and has lived in Oxford as of 2008. Since 2009, Melissa has been a licensed Esthetic Instructor and is responsible for multi-level curriculum, demonstrations and state board preparation. One of her favorite aspects of being an Esthetics Instructor is being able to help people find a job that they are not just good at, but a career that they are passionate about. Melissa’s background includes a license as an Esthetician, a degree in Business Administration, certified as a Master Educator, certified by the NCEA, and certified by American Red Cross as a First Responder Instructor. In December 2015, ISSNMT bestowed the honor of naming Melissa the Educator of the Year. In her time off, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband and playing with their dogs.

Mary Catherine Patrick has been an aesthetician since 1990. She trained in San Bruno, CA and worked as an acne specialist for two San Francisco dermatologists. She was a Salon Director for many years in the Napa Valley. She later worked in Las Vegas. In 2003 she moved to Atlanta and worked in several leading spas. Two years ago she became a student at ISSNMT and graduated with a diploma to show her completion of the Esthetics program. She went on to obtain her license as an Esthetics Instructor, and was hired as an instructor at ISSNMT.
Ms. Patrick also holds a B.A. in health care administration and was a certified medical biller and coder.
Mary Catherine is dedicated to continuing education and is currently working toward certification in the Pastiche Method of Skin Analysis.
